Olive oil tradition

Frantoio Salvagno, located in Nesente in Valpantena (Verona), is a family-run farm that, since 1923, has passionately followed the entire production cycle: from the care of the olive groves to the pressing, up to the marketing of extra virgin and organic oil.

Led today by Giovanni, Elena and their daughters Francesca and Cristina, the company combines tradition and innovation: it uses modern technologies to control each phase of production, preserving the quality and natural nutrients of the oil. The microclimate of the Veronese hills gives their oils unique characteristics of aroma, flavor and color.

Famous for its participation in the Frantoio Salvagno Festival and for the prestigious “Mastro d’Oro” award assigned to Giovanni Salvagno in 2024, the company celebrated its centenary in 2023 with the publication of the book “Le nostre vite per l’olio” (Our lives for oil).

Today Salvagno oil is distributed in Italy – in organic shops, restaurants and online – and abroad: over 50% of the bottles are sold through online shops and foreign channels. The Frantoio also welcomes tourists and groups, promoting guided tours and insights into the link between oil, territory and well-being.
